Brian is an experienced Mechanical Engineer with a BS in Civil Engineering from the University of Massachusetts Lowell and currently finishing an MBA with American Military University. Brian has served as an officer in the United States Navy for 25 years and is a combat veteran of the Iraq War. His professional credentials include being a Certified Geothermal Designer (CGD; first to hold certification in Massachusetts) as well as accredited Geothermal Installer and a Certified Energy Manager (CEM). He is a member of several professional organizations including Society of American Military Engineers (SAME), International Ground Source Heat Pump Association (IGSPHA), Association of Energy Engineers (AEE), Boston Green Roundtable and American Society of Heating, Refrigeration and Air-conditioning Engineers (ASHRAE).
Dan has over 20 years of experience in HVAC system design and sales, and holds a degree in Mechanical Engineering from the University of Massachusetts Lowell. Dan has experience in project estimating, building automation system design and sales, energy management, and HVAC equipment design and sales. Dan began his career in the HVAC industry, holding various engineering, estimating and sales roles throughout New England. He is a member of the Boston chapter of the American Society of Heating, Refrigeration, and Air Conditioning Engineers.
Greg is an experienced mechanical & product engineer with a BS in Mechanical Engineering from Lehigh University in Bethlehem, PA. Prior to NEAP, Greg spent 4 years in HVAC equipment sales in the Boston territory focusing on airside and waterside systems. Prior to his sales career, Greg spent three years in Ingersoll Rand’s Accelerated Development program – with multiple engineering rotations on new product design & development, and product management. He is a member of the American Society of Heating, Refrigeration and Air-conditioning Engineers (ASHRAE). Outside of work, Greg is the Director of Bike to the Beach New England, a 100-mile charity bike ride that raises money & awareness for children with Autism and serves on the Board of Directors for The Crossroads School in Marlborough, MA.
(CFO) brings over 20 years of experience in Finance and Accounting. He started his career in public accounting at Deloitte and has since held financial leadership positions across diverse industries, including manufacturing, services, and software, primarily within private equity-backed companies. Rich has experience in M&A on both the buy and sell side. Rich is a Certified Public Accountant in Massachusetts. His experience will be an asset to NEAP helping to drive growth and profitability in the next phase of its life cycle.
Nick is an experienced Mechanical Engineer with a BS in Mechanical Engineering from Lehigh University in Bethlehem, PA. Before graduating, he worked as a design engineer at a large MEP firm in the Boston area. After graduating from college, he spent 2 years in HVAC design & sales in the NY/NJ territory focusing on equipment and systems sales. He is a member of the American Society of Heating, Refrigeration and Air-Conditioning Engineers (ASHRAE).
(Sales Engineer) joins NEAP with prior experience in sales and mechanical system design. Ryan entered the HVAC industry as an intern with an MEP firm in Washington DC. After graduating Penn State University with a degree in Mechanical Engineering, Ryan spent about 4 years serving Western Massachusetts and the past 5+ years covering Maine and New Hampshire in a technical sales role. Ryan is a Past President for the Maine Chapter of ASHRAE. Ryan resides in Maine, when he is not working, he enjoys mountain biking, spending time with his wife and daughters, and enjoying all that Maine has to offer.
Joins NEAP with 7 years in the industry working for Mechanical Contractors. Adam Graduated from the HVAC program Tri-County RVTHS. Adam holds his MA Refrigeration Technician License as well as his Sheet Metal Journeyman License. Outside of work, Adam is a big brother for BBBS, and enjoys mountain biking and line dancing.
(Controller) comes to NEAP with 23 years of financial, business management and customer service experience. Anne is a graduate of Northeastern University with a BSBA in Finance. Prior to her role as Controller, Anne spent 12 years in the HVAC industry in a variety of roles. Before that she served as Office Manager for a chemical distribution company. Anne’s ability to manage business finances and customer relationships is critical to NEAP’s success.
(Sales Engineer) brings 25 years of HVAC experience in both airside and chilled water system applications. Cary has a BS in Mechanical Engineering from UMASS Amherst. After graduation he began his sales role in the automotive industry. Soon he was acquired by a major HVAC manufacturer which allowed him to focus on his technical abilities and where he spent the entirety of his career. Of his 25 years, 19+ years of Cary’s experience has been in the CT market and that was split early on by a transfer to TN for 5 years. He has worked on projects world-wide, going as far south as Aruba, and as far east as India. Cary is a member of the CT Chapter of ASHRAE where he previously served on their Board of Governors.
Charles is a Service Technician joining NEAP with 12 years of field experience working for HVAC Mechanical Contractors. Charles graduated from Southeastern Regional Vocational Technical High School in 2013. Charles currently holds his Massachusetts Refrigeration Technician License. Outside of his work life, Charles loves spending time with his family, playing rec league hockey, and traveling to his home away from home in Cape Breton, Nova Scotia.
(Product Engineer) brings over 10 years of HVAC inside sales & engineering experience to NEAP. Jacque recieved his degree from Middlesex Community College and has specialized in product support and design of chillers, fan coils, air-handling units, and unitary equipment throughout his career. With that technical expertise, as well as a focus on customer service, he provides our clients with the strong level of technical support needed to succeed in our ever-challenging business environment.
(Sales Engineer) joins NEAP with prior experience in the HVAC industry working for one of the largest mechanical contractors in Boston. Joe received his BS in Energy Systems Engineering from Massachusetts Maritime Academy in Buzzards Bay, MA. Prior to graduating, Joe worked for a global energy, water, and waste company in downtown Boston and Cambridge. Joe is a board member for the Association for Facilities Engineering (AFE). Outside of work, Joe enjoys golfing and skiing with friends.
(Project Manager) joined NEAP in 2023 with 8 years experience in IT infrastructure project management and consulting. Kara received her business degree from Pace University and obtained her PMP in 2022. Kara’s skills include leading teams through all phases of the project life cycle, problem solving, and risk management.
(Sales Engineer) with over 24 years of HVAC system design and sales experience and has a degree in Mechanical Engineering from Wentworth Institute of Technology. Prior to coming to NEAP, Kevin started his career in the Boston as a new equipment sales engineer for 8 years, then moved to central Florida where he spent 17 years selling new equipment for manufacturer representatives. In his free time, Kevin enjoys spending time with his family, working out, playing hockey and coaching.
(Project Administrator) joined NEAP in 2023 after working in the Customer Service & Hospitality field for 5 years. She graduated from Cambridge College with a BS in Marketing and Sales, and an Associate’s Degree in Economics from Antalya International University, Turkey. Klea brings a unique cultural and educational background along with an ability to communicate in five languages.
(Sales Engineer) is an experienced mechanical engineer with a BS in Mechanical Engineering from Northeastern University in Boston, MA. Prior to NEAP, Lou spent 15 years in HVAC equipment sales in Dayton, OH and Boston regions focusing on HVAC Systems and Controls. Lou was recruited directly out of college into the Trane Graduate Training program. He is a member of the American Society of Heating, Refrigeration and Air-conditioning Engineers (ASHRAE). Outside of work, Lou enjoys mountain biking, snowboarding and the occasional high-stakes poker game.
(Sales Engineer) brings over 20+ years of technical sales experience in HVAC. Matt has a BS in Mechanical Engineering from Penn State University. Prior to coming to NEAP, Matt held technical sales and executive management roles in South Florida, Arizona, Georgia, and Connecticut. Matt is a member of the CT Chapter of ASHRAE and he focuses on the Connecticut and Western MA territory. He is a very hands on engineer and is a very competent automotive mechanic.
Mike joined NEAP in 2025 as a Sales Engineer in Boston, MA. A graduate of Clarkson University and a local ASHRAE member, he began his career in the Boston HVAC market holding various sales engineering and project management responsibilities prior to NEAP. A trusted resource in the industry, Mike works closely with consulting engineers, mechanical contractors, and building operators to deliver efficient and reliable HVAC systems throughout New England. Outside the office, Mike enjoys coaching baseball, playing hockey, and a round of golf with friends. With a focus on clear communication and an attention to detail, Mike brings the same energy and commitment to every project, big or small.
Joins NEAP with 6 years of field experience working for mechanical contractors. Shawn graduated with an Associates degree from Massasoit’s Building Systems Energy Management program. Shawn currently holds his Massachusetts Refrigeration Technician license. When he is not working, Shawn enjoys playing disc golf and riding his motorcycle.
(Product Support Engineer) joins NEAP with prior experience in HVAC design, energy modeling, equipment selections, and applications. He graduated from Ferris State University with a BS in HVAC Engineering Technology and Energy Management. Tyler previously worked for HVAC manufacturers Multistack and Trane. He is a member of the La Crosse, WI ASHRAE Chapter and is on the IBPSA (International Building Performance and Simulation Association) Wisconsin Chapter Board..
